From 26th–28th June 2026, we're bringing Magic Weekend to our attractions across Blackpool, Chester, Dalton Park and Leeds, with magical experiences, exclusive partner offers and plenty of wizarding fun for all ages.

Following an incredible year for our attractions, including TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards for both Chester and Dalton Park, we're teaming up with local businesses and partners to create a weekend packed with magical experiences, exclusive offers and family fun.

Visitors can collect a free Magic Weekend Wristband from The Hole In Wand, unlocking discounts and special offers with local partners throughout the weekend. You will be able to collect this from the 22nd of June

In Chester, we're celebrating an award-winning year at The Hole In Wand and preparing to unveil exciting new permanent experiences as part of the weekend. Guests can also enjoy magical mini golf, themed entertainment and exclusive city-centre offers.

At Dalton Park, visitors can take on our magical mini golf course, explore the Little Wizards play area and enjoy offers from retail partners across the outlet centre as we prepare for the next chapter of magical expansion. With events held with mermaids, wizards and a quiz night on the Friday too!

In Blackpool, Magic Weekend will feature our immersive potion-making experience in our experience room, a special Janice D event drag bingo event, exclusive wristband perks including retail discounts and cocktail offers and discounts at a variety of local businesses

Meanwhile, in Leeds, witches and wizards can enjoy magical mini golf at The Hole In Wand, relax in The Wand and Tankard outdoor beer garden, and take advantage of exclusive offers in our magical beer garden including 10% off orders with Pizza Punks!

Whether you're discovering wizard golf, brewing magical potions, or exploring partner offers in your local area, Magic Weekend is set to bring a little extra magic to every location this June.

We're excited to announce that Magic Weekend is coming to York from 26th–28th June 2026, bringing three days of magical experiences, family adventures and exclusive offers across the city.

As a business rooted in York, we've always felt the city's rich history, medieval streets and mysterious stories make it the perfect place to celebrate all things magical. That's why we're bringing together some of York's favourite attractions, retailers and experiences for a city-wide weekend of wizardry.

Throughout the weekend, we'll be hosting a range of special events, including our popular Adult Potion Class at The Potions Academy, where guests can brew potion cocktails just above the Shambles!

Families can also join The Potion Smugglers Quest, a guided adventure through York's historic streets following the story of legendary alchemist Phileas Fry. For the first time, the experience will be led by one of our very own wizards!

Visitors to The Hole In Wand York can also enjoy appearances from award-winning York favourite Mad Alice, who will be entertaining guests across the weekend.

To make the most of the event, visitors can collect a free Magic Weekend Wristband from The Potions Cauldron York, The Potions Academy York and The Hole In Wand York from 22nd June. The wristband unlocks exclusive discounts, promotions and special offers at participating venues throughout the city.

We're delighted to be working alongside some fantastic York businesses and attractions, including The York Dungeon, York's Chocolate Story, The Puzzling World of Professor Kettlestring, DIG, York Gin, Socktopus, Avorium, The Hilt Axe Throwing and the Mad Alice Walking Tour.

Whether you're visiting York for the weekend or you're a local looking for something different to do, Magic Weekend is a great opportunity to explore the city, discover new experiences and enjoy a little magic along the way.

Follow in the footsteps of legendary wizard and alchemist, Phileas Fry on the route he used to transport his magical potions, via a network of secret tunnels beneath the streets of York. If detected by authorities, he would likely be accused of witchcraft, but more importantly, he needed to avoid scrutiny from those who practice dark magic and wished to steal his potions for their own nefarious means.
